With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity and saving time and money, construction works of a rural road have been implemented in Kyaungsu Village in Pwintbyu Township, Magway Region since June 6 this year. 

 

A rural road measuring 1.3 miles long, 12 ft. wide and one ft. thick is being constructed by Shwe Group Construction Company with Ks. 46.96 million allotted by regional government in 2022-2023 FY. During the inspection tour, officials met with in-charge person of the company and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance.

 

Once completed, it will benefit 400 acres of farmland of 3876 people from 902 households in the village, helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner, according to the Township Department of Rural Development.—Zin Mar(DRD)
