Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the construction work of a rural road in Hwaypasat Village in Mong Ton Township, Shan State (East) this morning.

During the inspection tour, officials and members of village development committee met with officials from the construction Company and stressed to meet construction deadline.

The Hwaypasat-Sinyin road measuring one mile and three furlongs in length and a box culvert on it was constructed at a cost of Ks. 62.73 million of DRD’s funds allocated in 2022-2023 FY.

Once completed, it will benefit 200 acres of farmland of local people from nearby villages, helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner, according to an official from the District Department of Rural Development—Maung Khaing(DRD)
