Staff led by staff officer of the Township Department of Rural Development Daw Htike Htike Pyae Phyo looked into the progress of the construction works of a concrete road in Ayekyi Village in Tada-U Township, Mandalay Region on 20 July.

 

During the inspection tour, an official from the Township DRD gave necessary instructions and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance.

 

The concrete road measuring 700 ft. in length, 14 ft. in width and six inches in thickness is being constructed with Ks. 12.4 million allocated by regional government. The construction work of the concrete road began on 9 July and now, it has been completed 50 percent.

 

Once completed, it will benefit 692 people from 190 households in Ayekyi Village in the Township, according to an official from the Township DRD.—Min Myint Mor(DRD)
