With the aim of saving time and money, the Township Department of Rural Development is implementing construction works of a rural road in Mang khunlung village in Muse Township, Shan State (North) yesterday morning.
Officials from the District Department of Rural Development and the Township Department of Rural Development looked into the progress of construction works of a rural road in the Village. During the inspections, officials met with in charge person of construction Company and gave necessary instructions to him.
The road measuring one mile in length, 12 ft. in width and nine inches in thickness plus one box culvert are being built by a private tender winning company with Ks. 41.58 million of DRD’s allotted funds in 2021-2022 FY and all the projects have been completed about 80 percent.
Once completed, it will benefit 221 acres of farmland of 349 local people from 82 household in the village, helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner.—Soe Moe Kyaw
