Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development looked into the progress of the construction works of rural road in Naungpi Village, Pinlaung Township in the Pa-O Self-Administered Zone, Shan State(South) at about 10 am on 9 May.
During the inspection tour, officials led by Pa-O Self-Administered Zone’s Department of Rural Development U Soe Lwin Myint met with in-charge person of Construction Company and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance and gave necessary instructions.
The rural road measuring one mile and one furlong in length, 12 ft. in width and the box culvert measuring 18 ft. in length and three ft. in width were constructed with Ks 31.305 million including Ks. 20 million of DRD’s allotted funds and Ks. 11.305 million allotted by regional government in 2021-2022 FY. The construction work of the road began from the first week of December last year and now, all the projects have been completed by 100 percent, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—U Nyein Thu Win Shwe(DRD)
