Masae, May 22

Officials from Kayah state development supervision office carried out an inspection of an inter-village earthen road linking three villages together, which is being constructed in Masae Township, Kayah state yesterday.

Myin Zai Shwe Pyi company started to construct a five-mile road section between Hojit village and Hopha village with allotted funds of K 124. 651 million in 2018-2019 fiscal year that started in October.

In 2019-2020 fiscal year, the construction of a four-mile road section between Hopha village and ledaw village has so far 75 percent completed by a private company under a contract, using K 162.272 million in border areas development funds allotted for the project.

When the earthen road connecting the three villages together, the socio-economic lives of local people in the villages will develop rapidly.—Wut Yi (IPRD)
