Yangon, 23 September

A local from Dala Township, Yangon Region found an old hand grenade while cleaning his house at around 6 p.m. on 22 September and informed the local police about the discovery of the weapon.

A group of security personnel consisting of policemen from Dala Myoma Police Station and members of the Myanmar Navy rushed to the scene where a hand grenade was discovered. The hand grenade has 8 inch in circumferences, 4 inch in length and 2 inch in diameter and the old weapon cannot explode. They transferred the hand grenade to concerned officials.
