The second confirmed COVID-19 positive patient being treated in People’s hospital in the town of Monghsu in Shan State was discharged from the hospital this morning, according to the township Department of Health.

But the patient will also be placed under seven-day home quarantine when he arrived at his home in accordance with the guidance of the Ministry of Health and Sports.

An official from the township Department of Health presented masks and hand gel to him and urged him to follow the instructions guided by the Ministry of Health and Sports amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. Afterwards, an official from the township General Administration Department gave words of encouragement to him.

Currently, there is no COVID-19 patient in people’s hospital in Monghsu Township, according to the township Department of Health.
