A woman was killed and 27 others injured a mini-truck overturned in KhinU Township, Sagaing Region, the Ministry of Home Affairs reported.
    

The fatal accident occurred near Gwaygon Village on an inter-village road in KhinU Township at about 3 p.m. on August 22. A mini-truck with 28 people aboard flipped over after the driver lost control of the vehicle. A 30-year old woman named Ma Thinzar Lwin died on the spot and 27 others sustained minor injuries in the incident
    

The deceased and injured were sent to KhinU Hospital and an action has been taken against the driver identified as Zarni, 32, over reckless driving by the local police.
