Thuwunnawadi, November 13 

A woman was killed in a head-on collision between two vehicles in the village of Mogaung near Tuwunnawadi town in Thaton township, Mon state yesterday morning. 

The accident occurred when a vehicle driven by an unidentified driver pulled out into the wrong lane and crashed into an oncoming car travelling to Beelin town from Thaton town, driven by Myo Win. The crash resulted in the death of a woman named Daw Win Mar, 53, a resident of Pathein town. 

Local police are searching for an unidentified driver, who fled the scene, to bring him to court.—Khun Win Pa
