14 people were rescued and two women went missing after a boat with 16 people collided with a ship docked at a jetty in NyaungU Township, Mandalay Region on August 26, according to an official from a local fire service station.
    

Firefighters, members of the local social organizations, and relatives the victims have been searching for the missing women along the Ayeyawady River. A body of woman was spotted near Kya Oh Kyun Village on the evening of August 30 and the news went viral among social media users in the township.
    

Upon receiving the information, firemen, volunteers from local social organizations, and policemen rushed to the scene where the body was found. Family members of the victim confirmed that the dead woman is Ma Kaung Myat Thu who went missing after the tragic accident.
