THE Myanmar Red Cross Society and the International Committee of the Red Cross jointly conducted the operational communication training for field workers in Nay Pyi Taw during the second week of December.
The opening ceremony took place at the Myanmar Red Cross Society’s headquarters in Nay Pyi Taw, attended by the Nay Pyi Taw Red Cross Supervisory Committee Chairperson, Central Council members of the Red Cross Society, officials from the Nay Pyi Taw Supervisory Committee, the Department of Social Welfare, and 20 Red Cross volunteers from various districts and townships within Nay Pyi Taw.
This training is part of a series previously held in Yangon, Magway, Northern Shan State, Kachin State, Mon State, Kayin State, Eastern Shan State, Mandalay, Taninthayi, and Ayeyawady Regions. Plans are underway to expand these sessions to the remaining states and regions to ensure nationwide accessibility. — ASH/KZL
