THE graduation ceremony for the 11th intake of female cadets of Tatmadaw (Army) Officer Training School (Hmawby) was held at the school’s Myawady Hall yesterday.
It was attended by Military Appointment-General Lt-Gen Lin Aung, senior Tatmadaw officers, Commandant Brig-Gen Toe Win and graduates.
Military Appointment-General Lt-Gen Lin Aung presented certificates to graduate cadets, delivered the convocation speech, and concluded the event.
The ceremony was to appoint female cadets who graduated from the school with the rank of second lieutenant. The graduate female cadet training course was opened in 2014 to produce qualified staff officers for Tatmadaw. Female graduates who have completed the training must serve in the relevant (Army, Navy and Air) corps. — MNA/KTZH
