A ceremony to honor outstanding students who passed with flying colors in 2019 matriculation examination was held at the hall of Rammawady in Kyaukpyu, Rakhine State this morning.

 

First of all, students performed a song at the event. Afterwards, U Nyi Pu, Chief Minister of Rakhine State and Dr Chan Tha, the State Minister for Social Affairs gave messages and  U Tin Thein, director of the state Education officer’s office clarified the purpose of the presentation of awards for outstanding students.

 

This was followed by the presentation of awards and certificates of honor to outstanding students, teachers, and schools with high pass rates in the 2018-2019 Academic Year matriculation examination in Kyaukpyu District Chief Minister and officials. Next, Ma Aye Nyein San who passed with six distinctions from B.E.H.S-1 in Ann Township spoke words of thanks on behalf of students.

 

There are 200 students who obtained distinctions in the 2018-2019 Academic Year matriculation examination in Kyaupyu District and Students who passed with six distinctions received K 2.0 million each, who passed with five distinctions received K 1.5 million each, who obtained four distinctions received K 800000 each, who passed with three distinctions received K 400000 each, who passed with two distinctions received K 100000  each and students who got one distinction received K 50000 each, it is learnt.—Tin Tun, IPRD
