Mrauk-U, 14 August

A ceremony to honor outstanding matriculation students who passed with five distinctions in 2020 matriculation examination was held at the meeting room of General Administration Department in the town of Mrauk-U, Rakhine State on 12 August. The ceremony was organized by the township Women’s Affair Association.

First of all, Chairperson of the township Women’s Affairs Association Daw Ma Saw Nyunt delivered an opening speech. Next, Rakhin State Women’s Affairs Association and the township Women’s Affairs Association jointly presented K 80000 each to Maung Hein Tun Zaw, Ma Phyo Phyo Zan and Maung Nay Soe Lin who passed with five distinctions in 2019-2020 Academic Years matriculation examination.

Out of over 2425 students sat for 2019-2020 academic years matriculation exam, 736 students passed the exam in the township and a total of 84 students obtained distinctions.
