Sponsored by Sayagyi U Ba Shwe Foundation, a ceremony to honor outstanding students who passed 2019 matriculation examination was held at its office in Palaw, Myeik District, Taninthayi Region yesterday.

At the event, Daw Yin Yin, vice chairperson of Sayagyi U Ba Shwe Foundation clarified the purpose of presentation of honor to outstanding students and read out the short history of U Ba Shwe Foundation. Afterwards, Daw Hla Hla Aye, staff officer of the Township Education Office spoke words of thanks to students and teachers.

This was followed by the presentation of awards to the outstanding students and schools with high pass rates in the 2018-2019 Academic Year matriculation examination in Plaw Township by members of U Ba Shwe Foundation.—Htoe Wai Yan, IPRD
