A ceremony to honor outstanding students who passed with distinctions in 2021-2022 Academic year’s matriculation examination was held at the meeting hall of B.E.H.S.-1 in Mingaladon Township, northern district of Yangon Region yesterday.
At the event, students from Hleku Township performed a dance. Afterwards, Chairman of Insein District Administration Council U Thant Zin delivered a speech and staff officer of the District Education Officer’s office Dr. Thein Marlar clarified the purposes of the presentation of prizes for outstanding students.
This was followed by the presentation of prizes to students who passed with distinctions in 2021-2022 Academic year’s matriculation examination by officials.
Under this prize awarding program, a total of 1864 students including 141 students who passed with four distinctions, 223 students who passed with three distinctions, 457 students who passed with two distinctions and one distinctions in 2021-2022 Academic year’s matriculation examination received the prizes and certificates of honor.—Zwe Htet Ko(IPRD)
