Gyobingauk 6 August

 

A total of 3287 acres of monsoon paddy fields in Gyobingauk Township, Bago Region was inundated by flood due to the increase of water level in Myitmaka Creek, according to Township Agricultural Department.

 

Gyobingauk is annually experiencing the rise of water level in Myitmaka Creek and this year, 906 acres of monsoon paddy fields in Minowe village-tract, 1575 acres in Nyaungbinmyinse village-tract, 508 acres in Kyaukwa village-tract and 298 acres in Sikone-2 village-tract, totaling 3287 acres of monsoon paddy fields were destroyed.  Township authorities inspected the current situation of inundation of paddy fields.
