With the aim of distributing local products to markets with saving time and money, construction of rural roads and bridges is being undertaken with K 544.2 million in 12 villages in Thayet District, Magway Region. Now, over 50 percent of the project has been completed, according to the District Department of Rural Development. 

 

During 2022-2023 FY, construction of rural roads and slab culverts is being conducted with K 354.7 million funded by Union Budget in seven villages in six townships. Then, the construction of rural roads and slab culverts is also being implemented with K 189.5 million funded by Regional Budget in other five villages.

 

Upon completion, it will bring socioeconomic development to the local people and local products will be distributed to the markets without wasting time and money.
