With the aim of distributing agricultural products to the market place with saving time and money, the Department of Rural Development will conduct construction of two rural roads and three bridges in Kyaikmaraw Township, Mawlamyine District, Mon State during 2020-2021 FY, according to the Township Department of Development.
The upgrade of rural roads in Kyakhatgone and Lonpi villages, construction of two bridges, box culvert and three aqueducts will be implemented with K 76.5 million allocated by funds of Union and K 67.1 million allocated by funds of Mon State Government. Now, arrangements are being made to invite open tender for the developmental tasks, according to a Township Officer U Pyae Oo Ko Ko from the Township DRD.
Upon completion, it will benefit the socioeconomic development of 2753 people from 435 households in two villages in the township and it will support to distribute agricultural products to the market place without wasting time and money.
