Myanma Agricultural Development Bank (Myeik Branch) is disbursing monsoon agricultural loans to farmers in Myeik District. Now, over K 2000 million of agricultural loans has been dispensed to farmers for 14225 acres of monsoon paddy fields in Myeik Township, Kyunsu Township, Taninthayi Township and Bokepyin Township, according to MADB Myeik Branch. 

The bank has disbursed over K 2133 million of agricultural loans to the farmers for 6899 acres in Myeik Township, 1066 acres in Kyunsu Township, 5977 acres in Taninthayi Township, 283 acres in Bokepyin Township. 

The bank continues disbursing the monsoon loans for 2021 to farmers who have already paid off for 2020 monsoon loans. It disburses the agri loans at a rate of K 150,000 per acre of monsoon paddy. The bank will collect a five percent interest rate annually, according to a District Bank Branch.
