Myanma Agricultural Development Bank (Pwintbyu Branch) is disbursing agricultural loans to farmers in Pwintbyu Township, Magway Region and it has disbursed over K 300 million of monsoon agricultural loans to the farmers from 10 June to 6 July, according to the Bank Manager.

With the aims of increasing agricultural production and ensuring food safety, the government is dispensing agricultural loans to the farmers across the nation. The officials from the bank urged the farmers to pay back the agricultural loans during the set date. They then disbursed the loans to the farmers in line with the COVID-19 restrictions.

In Pwintbyu Township, the bank will disburse monsoon agri-loans to the farmers from 51 village-tracts. Now, the bank has distributed a total of 341 farmers from six village-tracts in the township and it will distribute agricultural loans to farmers in other remaining village-tracts.
