Bogale, 13 October
Fire broke out in a house on Kanna Road in Ward-3 in the Town of Bogale, Ayeyarwady Region at about 7:00 pm on 12 October.
The fire was believed to have started from overheated electric wire in the home of U Than Kyaw Oo and spread to nearby book shelf and bed. Firemen from the Township Fire Services Department rushed to the incident scene to put out the fire in collaboration with villagers and the fire was totally extinguished at 7:15 pm.
The fire damaged the house measuring 55 ft. in length, 25 ft. in width and 22 ft. in height. But no casualties were reported. The authorities pressed charged against the owner of the house for his negligence, according to Bogale Myoma Police Station.—Moe Set(Bogale)
