Kyaukgyi 2 May

A fire broke out in Nyaungbintha village, Kyaukgyi Township, Taungoo District, Bago Region at 6:30 pm on 1 May.

The fire was believed to have started from the overheated solar panels which are connected to a battery in the house of U Kyi Win who resides in Nyaungbintha village. Therefore, local residents and firefighters put out the fire with fire engine. The fire was extinguished at 7:30 pm and two people, who were injured while removing household goods outside the house, were admitted to the hospital.

Action is being taken against U Kyi Win by the local police station.
