THE Ministry of Border Affairs, Progress of Border Areas and National Races Development have been paving the Lat Taing-Pan Un road near Na Khaik/Na Than Village- Tract, Hsihseng Township, Pa-O Self-administered Zone, with 191.647 million kyats from the Union Fund for Border Area Development in 2020-2021 financial year and about 60 per cent of the 7-mile long road is now paved.
After the road is completed, it will be easier to go to Hopong Township, Pinlaung Township, Taunggyi Township and the entire Hsihseng Township as well as the convenient transportation will provide the regional economy, education, social and health development of more than 5,000 residents in 9 surrounding villages.
Farmers in the area will be able to easily export their products to the market in a short period of time, which will increase incomes, improve socio-economic life, and improve urban and rural development in a short time due to the improved transport links.
