In commemoration of Independence Day which falls on January 4, painting competition was held at the community center of the township Information and Public Relations Department in the town of Dimawso, Kayah State this morning.

First, U Nga Re, staff officer of the township education officer’s office explained rules and regulations of the competition. Then, 25 students from basic education schools in the township competed in a painting competition.

Officials from the township GAD, Police Station, Planning Office, IPRD and Maternal and Child Welfare Association encouraged the students who competed in painting competition.—Ri Re(Dimawso)
