A parachute demonstration will take place at the 2nd Chindwin Sand Sculpture Festival from 13 to 15 April in Monywa Township, Sagaing Region, said Ko Naung Naung, secretary, Myanmar PPG club.

The three-day demonstration has been organized as part of the Chindwin Thingyan festival, according to the club.

“Ten paramotor flyers will participate in the demonstration at the invitation of the Sagaing Region government. The club has conducted paramotor jumps all over Myanmar, and they plan to promote paramotor flying and the tourism sector,” said Ko Naung Naung.

This will be the second time the festival will feature paramotor flyers. Five paramotor flyers took part in a demonstration in the previous Chindwin Thingyan festival.

Professional parachutists from Thailand and locals flew over popular places in Myanmar in the previous months, with the cooperation of the ASEAN Paramotoring Club (FLY ASEAN) and the Myanmar Parachute Federation, to promote the local tourism sector.
