Minhla, November 20

A passenger caught fire on Pathein-Monywa highway, some 13 miles west of Kantoke village in Minhla Township, Magway region yesterday evening.

The name of the bus with eight passengers is Man Thit Sar which runs between Yangon city and Sittwe, the capital of Rakhine state. The accident happened when a faulty break accumulated heat and triggered fire that totally destroyed the whole bus. Local fire fighters rushed to the scene and put out the fire with the use of two fire trucks. No passenger was injured in the incident.

Local police were taking action against the case.—Zar Zar
