An event to present cash assistance provided by the government to the families who have very limited and irregular income amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic was held at the meeting room of the township General Administration Department in Khin-U Township, Sagaing Region yesterday.

At the event, officials handed over K 292.06 million to relevant ward and village Administrators in the township. Under this cash aid program, people with irregular income from 14603 households in 64 wards and villages in the Township will receive K 20000 each. 

Also present on the occasion were departmental officials and ward administrators. The provision of this cash aid is the fourth of its kind in the Township.
