Kanbawza Bank, well-wishers and Shan State Government jointly provided food rations to the unemployed people and those who have no regular income amid the outbreak of COVID-19 at Bahtoo Hall in the town of Ywangan, Danu Self-Administered Zone, Pindaya Township, Taunggyi District, Shan State (South) yesterday.
Under this food supply program, the needy people in the town of Ywangan, Pindaya and Kalaw received rice, cooking oil, salt, onion, coffee and beans. Then, Kanbawza Bank and well-wisher also donated foodstuffs to Bawsai Monastery.
Also present on the occasion were Chief Minister of Shan State Dr. Lin Htut, Minister for Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Sai Lung Kyaw, Minister of the state transportation U Khun Ye Htway, Minister of the state Municipal U Sai Sun Saing, the state Hluttaw Speaker U Sai Lone Sai, Minister of Bamar Ethnic Affairs Dr. Aung Than Maung, Patron of KBZ Bank U Aung Ko Win, members of the township committee on COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment and members of social organizations.
