The township Emergency Food Assistance Committee, Kanbawza Bank and the state Government jointly distributed foodstuffs for the unemployed people and those who have no regular income amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic in Chanthar Ward, Kyaungkyi Ward and Kankyi Ward in the town of Taunggyi, Shan State yesterday.

Under this food supply program, 1060 families from Chanthar, Kyaungkyi and Kankyi Wards in the town received foodstuff such as rice, cooking oil, salt and bean.

The donation of foodstuffs is the 2nd of its kind in the township.—Sai Than Kyaw, IPRD
