GRADUATION ceremonies for Training 20 of the People’s Military Service training were held yesterday morning at re­gional military headquarters and training schools across the country.

 

Trainees took an oath of al­legiance while holding the na­tional flag, followed by award presentations for outstanding performance, including Best Soldier, Drill Excellence, Marks­manship and Combat Skills.

 

After the ceremonies, re­gional and state chief ministers, regional military commanders and senior officials met with the Batch 20 graduates at the train­ing schools, delivering remarks and personally congratulating and encouraging the new ser­vicemen.

 

The People’s Military Ser­vice Law came into effect on 10 February, 2024, with train­ing programmes conducted to prepare citizens for national defence and security duties. — MNA/KZL
