As every citizen has a duty to safeguard the Three Main National Causes: non-disintegration of the Union, non-disintegration of national solidarity, and perpetuation of sovereignty. The People’s Military Service Law was brought into force on 10 February 2024 to enable citizens to receive military training and to serve in national defence and security. Subsequently, People’s Military Service training courses have been opened and conducted. Graduates of these courses are now serving dutifully and steadfastly in their assigned battalions and units, carrying out national defence and security responsibilities without hesitation. — MNA/KNN
