Officials provided cash aid to persons with disabilities from villages and wards in Hlaingbwe Township, Kayin State on a door to door basis. The provision of cash aid is the 2nd of its kind in the township.

Under this cash aid program, altogether 1579 persons with disabilities including 908 men and 671 women in the township received K 30000 each amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.

Also present on the occasion were the township deputy Administrator U Nay Lin Htet and members, staff officer of the township Department of Social Welfare U Sai Yan Naung and staff.
