The Iranian Ambassador-designate presents credentials toSAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing in Nay Pyi Taw.

 

 

 

SENIOR General Min Aung Hlaing underscored friendly relations, dip­lomatic relations and promotion of bilateral trade between Myanmar and Iran.

 

Ambassador-designate of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Myanmar Dr Nassered­din Heidari presented his Credentials to State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing at the Credentials Hall of the SAC Chairman Office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.

 

At the ceremony, they exchanged views on the enhancement of friendly rela­tions between Myanmar and Iran, promo­tion of diplomatic relations, bilateral trade, and cooperation in science, technology, agriculture, and defence sectors.

 

Both sides cordially discussed prepa­rations for holding a free and fair election, the need to ensure the rule of law, peace, and stability, and a plan to invite interna­tional organizations to observe the elec­toral process.

 

Moreover, the discussions focused on the exchange of culture, further pro­motion of friendly ties and cooperation, and the progress of Myanmar’s political landscapes.

 

Also, present at the meeting were Council Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe and Director-General U Zaw Tun Oo of the Protocol Department under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. — MNA/TTA
