A high-level Myanmar delegation led by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is on an official visit to Russia, left Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow yesterday.
Russian Minister of Economic Development Mr Maxim Reshetnikov, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, officials, and the Guard of Honour saw off the senior general and his entourage.
At the airport, the Senior General received the salute of the Guard of Honour of the Russian Federation, and the Guard of Honour played the national anthems of both countries.
The Senior General and entourage arrived at Pulikovo Airport in Saint Petersburg in the evening, local time. The Senior General and his entourage were welcomed by Chairman Mr Grigoriev of the External Relations Committee of Saint Petersburg, Myanmar Consul-General U Aung Pe Thet and officials. — MNA/KTZH
