A combined team comprising police members from the Township Police Station, the Tatmadaw members and local authorities destroyed 25 acres of one and a half feet high poppy plants about one mile north of Panon Village in Hsi Hseng Township, the Pa-O Self-Administered Zone of Southern Shan State at about 9:25 am on November 15, according to the Township Police Station.

Local police members led by the Township Police Chief Police Major Maung Maung Kyaw, the Tatmadaw members and members of PNO militia, village administrators, members of the Township Fire Services Department and villagers participated in the event.
