The combined squad confiscated ownerless haul of drugs, ammunitions and communication devices in a village in Tachilek Township, Eastern Shan State on 14 June, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
    

 

A joint team checked out 21 suspicious bags hidden inside the tree bunches of leaves in an earthen drainage ditch near Parkhar Village, Tachilek Township at about 3:30 p.m. on 14 June. They discovered 4.254 million of stimulant tablets, 1.9 kilograms of stimulant pill powder, 900 grams of Ketamine, five kilograms of opium, nine different kinds of assault rifles, eight magazines, 19,279 rounds of ammunition and four Walkie Talkies.

Similarly, a local anti-drug squad raided the house of an unidentified man in Yaypusan Villageat around 1 p.m. on the same day and found 5.3 kilograms of heroin and paraphernalia. Arrangements are being made to take action against the house owner in accordance with the law by the local police.—MOHA
