Mawlamyine 13 October

Mon State Minister for Social Affairs inspected the preparations of makeshift COVID-19 hospital constructed at No.1 Basic Education High School in Mawlamyine, Mon State yesterday.

The occasion was observed by Mon State Minister for Social Affairs Dr. Htein Lin, Head of the State Department of Public Health and Medical Services Dr. Tun Aung Kyi and Dr. Wutt Hmone, members of COVID-19 Clinical Management Committee and departmental officials.

The construction was donated by Kyaw Kya Building Materials Supplier and the construction was started from 25 September. The hospital can accommodate about 300 patients and it will be Intensive Care Unit (ICU), PPE changing room and bathrooms.
