A delegation led by President U Win Myint and First Lady Daw Cho Cho who were in Viet Nam, Hanoi visited the UNESCO World Heritage site Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh Province yesterday morning.

The delegation led by the President and the First Lady was welcomed at Tuan Chau International Port by Quang Ninh Province Vice Chairman Mr. Nguyen Van Thang.

Next the delegation led by the President and the First Lady toured Ha Long Bay on a cruise ship and observed international tourists visiting the bay and the islands in the bay.

In the afternoon the President received Viet Nam-Myanmar Friendship Association Chairman Mr. Chu Cong Phung and party at the Sheraton Hotel.

During the meeting matters relating to increasing Myanmar-Viet Nam friendship and cooperation and cooperation between the two friendship associations to increase trade and investment works were discussed.

Afterwards the President received Vietnamese business persons from Vietnam Airline, Vietjet Airline, Viettel and the Bank for Investment Development of Vietnam (BIDV).

In the meetings, Vietnamese business persons explained about the Vietnamese companies investing in Myanmar and investment projects to be expanded.
