The final match of the township administrator’s cup monsoon football competition was held in conjunction with a prize awarding ceremony at the people’s sport ground in Yekyi Township, Ayeyawady Region on 8 October.
In the final game, the team representing Kaungkin Village beat the squad representing Kyoegon Village 2-0 and was crowned the champion trophy. The prize presentation ceremony followed. Township Administrator U Min Khaing Win and concerned officials awarded individual prizes, champion trophy and cash to the winning players and had a documentary photo taken together.
The football contest was organized by the township sports and physical education committee from 17 September to 8 October under its Township Sport Development Plan (TSDP).
