In order to mark the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, a public awareness campaign on drug, jointly organized by the District IPRD, the District Anti-Drugs team and the Township Writers Association, was launched at the hall of B.E.H.S-1 in Meiktila Township this morning.

At the event, the District Police Commander Police Major Than Htay Oo and a staff officer of the District IPRD delivered speeches. Afterwards, Police Major from anti-human trafficking squad, Dr. Khin Maung Myint from the Township writer association, U Tin Tun from the District anti-drugs team discussed about human trafficking, scourge of drugs and the disadvantages of drugs respectively.
