Public talk titled “Youth and Scourge of Narcotic Drugs”, organized by the Township IPRD and Education Department, was conducted at the community center of IPRD in Saw, Gangaw District, Magway Region this morning.

At the event, the region MP U Htin Lin and official from the Township GAD delivered speeches and staff officer of the Township IPRD Daw Khaing Za Win clarified the purpose of the talk.

Afterwards, officials from the Township’s Police Station, Health Department, GAD, Law Office discussed about Youth and Scourge of Narcotic Drugs and answered queries raised by those present on the occasion.

A total of 360 people including the region MP, departmental officials, teachers, students and invited guests attended the talk, it is learnt.—Maung Thant (Saw)
