Taunggyiyi, 12 September

With the aim of raising awareness among youths of the danger of drugs, public talks, organized by volunteers, were conducted at the meeting hall of B.E.H.S-8 in Taunggyi, Shan State yesterday.

First of all, U Soe Tint, headmaster of B.E.H.S-8 delivered an opening speech. Afterwards, chairman of sub-drug supervisory body U Min Hlaing Win clarified the purpose of drug supervisory body and member of sub-drug supervisory body Daw Mi Mi Lay read out the history of the origin of drugs and answered queries raised by those present on the occasion. 

This was followed by the presentation of awards to students.
