Public talks titled “Rural Development” were conducted by Information and Public Relations Department in Lakkabya village, Yinmarbin Township, Sagaing Region this morning.

With the aim of holding discussions between government personnel and the public, creating opportunities to know the lives of the public, boosting their creative thinking and encouraging them to participate in group discussions, the public talks are being conducted across the nation by IPRD.

On the occasion, MP Daw Aung May Yee of No-2 Constituency of Regional Hluttaw and an official from the Township General Administration Department gave remarks. Next, an official from the Information and Public Relations Department clarified the purpose of the public talks.

The attendees in the village raised queries concerning the rural developmental works and the officials responded to their queries.

Present on the occasion were MP of Regional Hluttaw, departmental personnel and local residents in the village. In addition, a police officer from the local police station raised awareness on anti-trafficking in persons.
