A ceremony to open Pun Haling Siloam hospital jointly developed by First Myanmar Investment Company (FMI) and OUE Lippo Healthcare Limited was held at the hospital, Chanaye Tharzan Township, Mandalay yesterday morning with a welcoming speech by Senior Director Dr Yee Moe Myint.

 

At the ceremony, Deputy Director-General of Mandalay Region of Medical Services Department and Public Health Department Dr Than Than Myint delivered an honorable speech and Managing Director of Pan Hlaing Siloam hospital Dr Thet Thet Khaing gave the words of thanks.

 

Next, Dr Than Than Myint, Dr Yee Moe Myint and Dr Thet Thet Khaing cut a ribbon to formally open the event and inspected treatment activities at the hospital.

 

The 74-bed hospital with an investment of US$ 11 million is an international hospital proving medical services with the standard set by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).   

The Pun Hlaing Siloam hospital contains three operation theatres, OG unit, Intensive unit, Imaging Unit, laboratory, emergency rooms and others. –Tin Maung (Mann Sub-Printing House).
