Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U T Khun Myat received Mr Yamaguchi Natsuo, the Japan’s Upper House MP and the Chief Representative of Komeito party which is a partner of current Japanese coalition government, at the Hluttaw Building in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.

During the meeting, they discussed promotion of friendship relation, close cooperation in democratic reform processes of Myanmar, internal peace and reconciliation processes, human resources development, economic reforms and legislation process of the Hluttaw.

The meeting was also attended by Pyithu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Tun Tun Hein, officials from Pyithu Hluttaw office and Japanese Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Ichiro Maruyama.—MNA (Translated by Aung Khin)
