Thazi, 9 June
Some schools that were used as quarantine centers for the returnees during the control and prevention of COVID-19 pandemic have been sprayed with disinfectant on 8 June.
Under the guidance of the township level COVID-19 control and prevention committee, the activity was undertaken by members of the Myanmar Red Cross Society, staff from the General Administration Department and village authorities. They sprayed disinfectant on classrooms, desks, toilets, and bathrooms. The chairman of the township level COVID-19 control and prevention committee Township Administrator U Zaw Lin Maung and concerned officials supervised the task.
There were 58 schools that were diverted into facility quarantine centers for the returnees in Thazi Township.
