RAKHINE United defeated Thitsar Arman 3-1 in the 19th fixture of the 2024-2025 Myanmar National League season at Thuwunna Youth Training Centre in Yangon yesterday.
Rakhine United struggling in the relegation zone claimed the win with a hat-trick from striker M’Baga. Despite the victory, Rakhine United remains in the relegation battle and needs to push for more points in their final three matches. Thitsar Arman, which took the lead early, conceded three goals and lost the match.
Both teams featured most of their key players. However, Rakhine United faced challenges due to injuries and suspensions. The first half ended without a goal, but Aung Htun Htun put Thitsar Arman ahead early in the second half. M’Baga equalized for Rakhine United in the 64th minute and scored two more goals in the 82nd and 88th minutes. M’Baga was named the best player of the match.
