A ceremony to open a township level refresher training course for teachers who will teach the new Grade-5 curriculum in 2022-2023 academic year was held at Gyobingauk B.E.H.S in Gyobingauk Township in Bago Region at about 9:00 am on 10 May.

The training course which runs from May 10-13 is being attended by 673 teachers from Basic Education Primary Schools in the Township. The trainees are being taught by 44 senior instructors from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, according to an official from the township education officer's office.

In addition, a Township level refresher training course for teachers who will teach the new Grade-8 curriculum in 2022-2023 academic year will be opened at Pantin B.E.H.S from May 16 to 18 and a refresher training course for teachers who will teach the new Grade-11 curriculum in 2022-2023 academic year will be held at Byintnaung B.E.H.S from May 21 to 23 in the Township.—Zayya Tun(Gyoebingauk)
